So, let’s dive into this unique gadget that has taken the gaming industry by storm!
The Anne Pro II is a 60% mechanical keyboard that can be used wired or wirelessly both and has many features. It is a popular choice among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts due to its numerous customization options, including several Cherry, Gateron, and Kailh switches. We opted for the Anne Pro 2 software with Gateron Red switches, and the purchase came with a keycap puller, a detachable red USB-C cable, and various coloured keycaps that can be used to replace the standard ones. Additionally, a black version of this keyboard is available for purchase. The Anne Pro II comes with Bluetooth connectivity, which allows it to connect to up to four devices at once, making it effortless to switch between them and type away.

It feels lovely to type on this keyboard. Despite being smaller, the keyboard is highly secure and solid, which improves the typing experience. However, we are not a massive fan of 60% keyboards because our sore wrists make it difficult for us to type on smaller keyboards. When pressed, the Gateron Reds offer a pleasant acoustic that enhances the feel of the keystrokes. However, as both of us are used to tactile rather than linear switches, it took a lot of work to get used to typing with this type of switch. Lubricating every key would help the button operate even more smoothly.
The Anne Pro II keyboard is a compact 60% design that doesn’t feature a num pad, arrow keys, or F keys. However, you can access these keys by pressing multiple keys simultaneously to activate the lower layer. This keyboard has a sleek, white-coloured appearance with PBT plastic keycaps with a grease-free finish. While the keycaps are smooth and slippery, I prefer more texture. The Anne Pro II offers various lighting options that allow you to switch between different backlight colours, perfect for those who enjoy changing their keyboard’s appearance. However, configuring the different RGB backlight colours may be challenging since the instructions are translated from Chinese and can be difficult to understand.
What Makes It So Good?
If you love customising your keyboard to suit your preferences, the Anne Pro II is a fantastic choice. You can tailor this keyboard with various switch options, customizable keycaps, lighting settings, and programmable features.
One notable feature is the ability to connect to up to four Bluetooth devices and effortlessly switch between them. This is particularly useful if you want to connect your keyboard to your PC, smartphone, TV, or work computer and switch between them as needed. The Bluetooth connection is reliable, ensuring keystrokes are not missed and the software operates smoothly.
The Anne Pro II, a 60% keyboard, is favourite among mechanical keyboard enthusiasts and has gained popularity within the community. We decided to review this keyboard due to its high demand. It offers wired and wireless connections and has a rechargeable battery lasting up to eight hours. The keyboard comes with great customization options that don’t require any assembly. However, there are some areas where the Anne Pro II could improve, such as battery life, lighting, and instructions. Despite these shortcomings, considering its price, the keyboard is an excellent choice.
